Welcome to Chris's MySpace Geography Test I

A 2002 survey by National Geographic found that 83 percent of young Americans couldn't even find Afghanistan on a world map. But that's about to change. Here's your chance to take back that ignorance and flush it down the water-closet then brag about it to your so-called mates.

These 100 questions range from very easy to extremely difficult. They are a healthy mix of physical, cultural, political, and historical geography. I've thrown in a dash of world history and linguistics to spice things up a bit.

Most questions have been culled from various trivia sites; some questions are written by Chris. All answers are verified and correct.

When you're done, hit the Submit button below to calculate your score! Then post it as a blog comment to see how you measure up against other brave test takers (link at bottom of answer page).

Bonne chance. Buona fortuna. Viel Glück! Good luck.
